Fabulous Torbay Palm
Guests often comment on Glenlee’s pretty front garden, which, we have to admit, we’re quite proud of ourselves. Juxtaposed with the lovely background of Beach Gardens over the road, with its putting greens, tennis courts and bowling green, we believe our front garden makes a super spot to relax.
The Torbay Palm, which a few years ago was knee high to a grasshopper, has flourished into quite a giant now, and certainly makes an impressive site in the middle of our front wall. Viewed from Room 6, or the two bay window rooms below (1 and 2), it looks quite magnificent.
Jenny Jones has kept the Glenlee front garden looking superb for many years and still continues to tend to it, ensuring a dazzling display of colour all round the calendar. Long may she continue!
